Why the contribution is important

This idea is important because it directly addresses the needs of young people aged 12–22 at a critical stage in their development, empowering them to take charge of their futures. By combining practical skill-building, personal growth opportunities, and mental well-being support, the project ensures a holistic approach to nurturing independence, confidence, and resilience in young adults.

    • Young people increasingly experience stress and anxiety related to uncertainty about their futures. The well-being activities and mindset coaching provide essential support to manage these pressures effectively.

  3. Fostering Self-Sufficiency:

    • The focus on goal-setting, leadership, and communication skills encourages participants to take control of their lives, fostering independence and personal accountability.

  4. Strengthening Community Ties:

    • By connecting young people with local professionals, training providers, and peers, the project creates opportunities for ongoing support and collaboration that benefit both individuals and the wider community.

  5. Tangible, Lasting Impact:

    • The skills and tools participants gain are not just for short-term use but will serve them throughout their lives, enabling them to adapt to future challenges and opportunities.

  6. Addressing Local Needs:

    • In Cefni & Canolbarth Môn, young people are a vital part of the community’s future. Investing in their development ensures a stronger, more vibrant local area in the long term.
