Why the contribution is important

Many young people in Cefni & Canolbarth Môn lack access to hands-on learning opportunities and safe spaces to explore practical skills. The Cefni Youth Makerspace will help bridge this gap by providing a welcoming environment for young people to connect, create, and learn valuable skills that are relevant in today’s world. By partnering with local volunteers, the project will build connections between young people and community members, fostering mentorship and empowering the next generation.

Beyond offering practical skills, the Makerspace will inspire confidence, spark curiosity, and encourage teamwork. As young people gain new skills and connect with peers and mentors, they’ll develop a stronger sense of belonging and pride in their community. The project has the potential to become a sustainable, community-supported initiative that will grow with the needs and interests of young people.
